Ambassador Chen Li Bids Farewell to People from All Walks of Life in Finland

Recently, Ambassador Chen Li paid farewell calls on President Sauli Niinistö, Speaker of the Parliament Matti Vanhanen, Minister for Foreign Affairs Pekka Haavisto, Minister for Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade Ville Skinnari, Minister of Economic Affairs Mika Lintilä, Permanent State Secretary of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs Matti Anttonen, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Jaana Husu-Kallio and friends from all walks of life in Finland.

Ambassador Chen reviewed the development of China-Finland relations and the accomplishments made in exchanges and cooperation between the two countries in his tenure, expressed gratitude to the support from the Finnish side to the Chinese Embassy and to himself, and noted that he would pay attention to the bilateral relations as always and continue to contribute to the Future-oriented New-type Cooperative Partnership of China and Finland.

The Finnish side spoke highly of the development of Finland-China relations in the past 5 years and highly appreciated Ambassador Chen’s efforts and contributions to promoting the bilateral relations and deepening friendship. They expressed their reluctance to bid farewell and their best wishes to Ambassador Chen, saying that they will continue to support the work of the Chinese Embassy and join efforts to the sound development of Finland-China relations.
