On 9 November, Ambassador Wang Tongqing paid a visit to the City of Tampere and met with Mayor Kalervo Kummola, Deputy Mayor Ilkka Sasi and President Keijo Hämäläinen of the Tampere University. He also visited the Tampere Hall.

During the visit, both sides exchanged views on interactions between local governments of China and Finland, and their cooperation and exchanges in economy, trade, culture, education and other fields.

Mr. Yuan Xudong, Counsellor in charge of science and technology affairs, attended relevant events.
