On 23 April, Ambassador Wang Tongqing attended the annual meeting of Finland-China Business Association at the latter’s invitation. Mr. Timo Helosuo, Chairman of the Finland-China Business Association, and its members, as well as Finnish trade promotion agencies jointly participated. Counsellor Gui Yun from the Embassy was also present.

Ambassador Wang Tongqing briefed the audience on China's economic development achievements and the clear objectives of its “Two Sessions” this year, pointing out that both China and Finland had been actively practicing multilateralism and striving to promote peace, prosperity and development of the world, emphasizing the bright economic outlook of China. He stressed that China’s door to foreign cooperation is always open, and Finnish enterprises of all sorts are welcome to seize such an opportunity to undertake economic, trade and investment cooperation with China. Ambassador Wang Tongqing also answered questions on China's green transition and visa facilitation in which the Finnish enterprises were interested.
