On March 31 and April 1, Ambassador Wang Tongqing paid a visit to the City of  Salo, met with the City Council Speaker Heikki Tamminen, Mayor Anna-Kristiina Korhonen, and Chairperson of the Municipal Board Simo Paassilta, exchanging views on strengthening local exchanges and promoting the cooperation in various fields between China and Finland.

Ambassador Wang also visited Salo IoT Campus and the enterprises therein, including IONCOR and Cencorp, as well as Finnish company HK Foods’ factories in Rauma and Forssa. During the visit, Ambassador Wang engaged with relevant executives of the above enterprises and factories and exchanged views with them on promoting collaboration in green transition and cooperation on advanced technologies, agriculture and food industries between China and Finland. Gui Yun, Counsellor in charge of economic and commercial affairs, among others, accompanied relevant events.
