At the invitation of the Minister for Housing, Energy and the Environment of Finland H.E. Mr. Kimmo Tiilikainen, Ambassador Chen Li attended the opening ceremony of the 5th High-Level Dialogue Conference of China-Europe Water Platform and relevant events on 21st September, 2017. Chinese Minister of Water Resource H.E. Mr. Chen Lei, Finnish Minister for Housing, Energy and the Environment H.E. Mr. Kimmo Tiilikainen, Commissioner for Environment, Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of European Commission H.E. Mr. Karmenu Vella attended the conference and made opening speeches.

During the conference, all parties had high-level dialogues on the topic of Water and Green Development and Circular Economy and signed Turku Declaration and the Memorandum of Understanding on Establishing China-EU Water Policy Dialogue.
