On November 3rd, 2017, at the invitation of Mayor Jukka Mäkelä, Ambassador Chen Li and his spouse Mme. Qin Sa visited the City of Espoo.

Ambassador Chen attended a luncheon hosted by Mayor Mr. Mäkelä. Both sides exchanged views on deepening the cooperation between Espoo and Shanghai as well as further promote bilateral friendship between two countries in the fields of economy and trade, scientific research, education, etc.

Guided by Deputy Mayor Mr. Juha Metso, Director of Economic Development of Espoo Ms. Tuula Antola and personnels in the Department of International Affairs in the City Government, Ambassador Chen also paid visits to the Espoo Innovation Garden, START UP SAUNA, Espoo Hospital, Aurora Primary School, VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland and Iso-Omena Service Centre.

Ambassador Chen visited Aurora Primary School and taught Finnish children how to write Chinese.
