As per holiday schedule of 2022, the Consular Section of the Embassy of China in Finland will be closed from October 1-5, 2022 (Saturday to Wednesday ) on the occasion of China’s National Day. During this period, the Embassy will continue to certify negative nucleic acid Covid-19 tests for Chinese and foreign citizens. Chinese citizens are required to apply through the WeChat platform, while foreign citizens are to apply via website. In case of emergency situations, please contact the consular section via email at: consulate@chinemb.fi.

In order to provide better services regarding consular document legalization, as of October 6, 2022, the Chinese Visa Service Center in Helsinki will receive document legalization applications exclusively on behalf of the Embassy of China. Applications shall be submitted on Mondays and Thursdays, from 9:00 - 11:30 AM, identical to that of the opening hours of the Consular Section of the Embassy of China. Document legalization applications shall no longer be submitted at the Consular Section of the Embassy.
