BOCOG will establish a 24-hour visa hotline from July 8 to October 16, 2008 in accordance with regulations stated in the Olympic Charter, Host City Contract and Accreditation and Entries at the Olympic Games- User's Guide concerning the entry of OIAC (OLYMPIC IDENTITY AND ACCREDITATION CARD) and valid passport holders into the host country. During Games- time, this hotline will provide information and identity verification services for accredited persons who are not in possession of the OIACs for any reasons and persons who should have been accredited but have still not been accredited for any reasons (this service is not appplicable to any members of the media).

After the aforementioned persons' identities have been verified, BOCOG will issue an Immigration Form for Persons Entering China for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad and Paralympic Games to them (a sample form is attached for reference). This form may be used in two ways: (1) together with a valid passport, it may be used to apply for a visa at a Chinese Embassy or Consulate; (2) eligible persons holding valid passports may  complete this form and relevant entry formalities for direct entry into the mainland of China.
