On March 17, State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi sent a message of on COVID-19 to Minister for Foreign Affairs of Finland Pekka Haavisto, conveying sincere sympathy to those in Finland who are unfortunately infected with COVID-19 and to their families.

In the message, Wang Yi said that he believes with the active measures of Finnish government, the epidemic can be controlled effectively. Wang Yi appreciated Finland’s sincere support at the critical time when China fights against COVID-19, and noted China stands ready to share with the Finnish side China’s experience on diagnosis, prevention, control and treatment, carry out medical cooperation and provide help and support within China’s capacity.
