On March 25, Mr. Chen Huixin, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Embassy, visited Easpring Finland New Materials Oy's Lithium Battery Cathode Active Material Plant(in construction) in Kotka, Finland. Mr. Chen toured the Phase I construction site of the project, visited some of the staff dormitories, and held discussions with the project managers and representatives of the main contractor, among others. Ms. Gui Yun, Counsellor in charge of economic and commercial affairs of the Embassy, among others, were also present.

Mr. Chen noted that China and Finland are currently taking prompt actions to implement the series of important consensus reached by the state leaders of the two countries, hoping that Easpring and other enterprises investing in Finland utilize their own advantages in playing a greater role and make more contributions to practical cooperation especially green transition cooperation between China and Finland.
