Chargé d'Affaires a.i. Chen Huixin Attends China-Finland Circular Economy Business Cooperation and Exchange Workshop

Jointly organized by China Resources Recycling Group (CRRG) and the China Association of Circular Economy(CACE), the China-Finland Circular Economy Business Cooperation and Exchange Workshop was held on May 20 in Helsinki. CRRG General Manage Mr. Zhu Jianchun, CACE President Mr. Zhu Liyang, Senior Specialist at the Finnish Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment Ms. Sari Tasa, Head of the Climate Leadership Coalition Ms. Tuuli Kaskinen, and representatives from more than 20 Finnish companies including Metso and Lindström, were among the 40-strong participants in the Workshop. Mr. Chen Huixin, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Embassy, also attended and delivered his remarks upon the organizers’ invitation. Ms. Gui Yun, Counsellor in charge of economic and commercial affairs of the Embassy, were also present.

In his remarks, Mr. Chen congratulated the success of the workshop, noting that circular economy cooperation is an important part of the series of consensus reached by the two presidents of China and Finland and an important piece of content in the Joint Action Plan between China and Finland on Promoting the Future-oriented New-type Cooperative Partnership 2025-2029. He expressed his expectation that enterprises from both countries, by strengthening their industry alignment with each other, could play even bigger roles and make even greater contributions in deepening the circular economy cooperation between China and Finland. Participants of the workshop spoke highly of China-Finland economic and trade relations and expressed their readiness to contribute more to green transition cooperation between the two countries.
