At the invitation of Kuopio Mayor Ms. Soile Lahti, in order to actively promote exchanges and cooperation between China and Finland in arts festivals, Counselor Li Baorong of the Embassy attended the Kuopio Dance Festival from June 11 to 12. During the festival, he attended the Reception hosted by Chairman of City Council Ms. Tanya Elaksinen and appreciated the dance performance themed “Wild Poetry”.

The Kuopio Dance Festival is the oldest dance festival in the Nordic countries which enjoys great popularity. It is one of the most important events for the city, attracting a large number of tourists annually.
