On March 30, Mr. Chen Huixin, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Embassy met with the delegation led by Mr. Zeng Yongchao, Executive Vice President of China Southern Airlines Group, who visited Finland to attend the Beijing Daxing-Helsinki Inaugural Flight Launch Ceremony, at the Embassy. The two had extensive and in-depth exchanges of views on China-Finland relations, and in particular, on the cooperation in various fields between the two countries. Ms. Gui Yun, Counselor in charge of economic & commercial affairs, among others, were also present.

Mr. Chen warmly congratulated China Southern Airlines on its successful inaugural flight from Beijing Daxing to Helsinki, noting that it was a significant step in implementing the series of important consensus reached by the state leaders of China and Finland, particularly the outcomes of Finnish Prime Minister Orpo's visit to China in January this year, wishing a continuous and smooth operation of the new route, so as to provide greater support in deepening the exchanges and pragmatic cooperation in various fields between the two countries. Mr. Zeng shared with the host the preparations for the inaugural flight ceremony and expressed China Southern Airlines Group’s willingness to actively leverage the new route in playing a driving role in propelling the continuous healthy and stable development of China-Finland relations.

On the same day and March 30, Mr. Chen and team also attended the Beijing Daxing-Helsinki Inaugural Flight Launch Ceremony and the Inaugural Flight Reception Ceremony upon invitation.
